Longcase Clock - 18th Century Scottish

18th century Scottish mahogany eight-day longcase clock, John Smith, Stonehouse, made during the reign of George III. Four-pillar movement with anchor escapement, in good working order, striking on a bell. Thirteen inch arched brass dial with pierced spandrels, silvered chapter ring, seconds dial, date aperture (date not working), engraved to the arch ‘John. Smith, Stonehouse’. Mahogany inlaid case on turned feet.
