Anglo Irish Cut Oval Glass Serving Bowl with Cover C1820

Technical Description An Anglo Irish cut oval glass serving bowl with its original lid. The lid has a cut mushroom finial above bands of flute cuts, diamonds and prisms. Scalloped rim above further matching cut bowl. Raised oval foot with a polished pontil. Date & Origin Ireland or England c1820, Period of George III Condition Very Good. There is a single small chip to the underside lid rim and a few of the scallops on the bowl rim have small chips. Overall its in very good tableware condition. Wear to base as expected for age.
