An absolutely captivating rare hardstone Cameo signet ring set in a thick 15ct Gold custom mount. Has been fully x-ray tested for purity. Dates to middle part of the 19th Century c1870s. Set with an oval hand-carved agate hardstone Cameo of a lady in relief. Classic Victorian handmade Cameo style. Good condition for age and fully wearable. Does show some signs of wear (resizing) which add to the character but could be restored fully if that is what you wanted. Width across setting is 15mm. Width at rear is 3.8 mm. UK Size is M. US size is 6.25. It is only my opinion but I feel antique items that are polished too much lose some of the character.
