Antique Chatelaine Perfume Scent Bottle Bristol Blue & Gilt c.1880

On offer is this antique chatelaine perfume bottle measuring 6.8cm in height (excluding the attached suspensory chain and ring). This scent bottle has a cylindrical form with flattened base so it can stand upright without support. The bottle is made of beautiful bristol blue glass and has raised gilt foliate decoration to the front. The bottle is fitted with a brass collar and hinged brass lid which has attractive engraved pattern to the top. Attached to the sides of the collar is the original suspensory chain and ring so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The perfume bottle retains it's original clear glass inner stopper. This antique perfume bottle is offered in good condition. There are no chips, cracks or fractures to the glass body, neck or internal stopper. The lid is free of dents or dings and fits firmly and securely.
