Description
On offer is this antique Venetian chatelaine scent bottle which dates circa 1880 and measures approx 7cm in length and 4cm in diameter. This antique perfume bottle is made of Venetian turquoise blue glass with swirling silver aventurine inclusions. The bottle is fitted with a brass collar and hinged lid which has repousse decoration to the sides and domed top. Attached to the sides of the collar is the original beaded suspensory chain and ring so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The bottle retains its original blue opaline inner glass stopper.
