Description
Offered for your consideration is this attractive antique scent bottle dating circa 1880. This bottle has an oval, drop shape and measures approx. 7.5cm in height with a maximum width of 3.5cm.
This scent bottle is made of beautiful cranberry glass fully encased in an elaborate filigree gilt ormolu mount. The bottle is fitted with a hinged grass lid with pretty engraving to the top.
This antique scent bottle is offered in good condition. There are no visible chips or cracks to the glass. The neck of the bottle is undamaged and the bottle is lacking it's inner glass stopper. The gilt ormolu mount is in very good order with no pieces missing and no lifting. The lid fits firmly and securely and is free from dents or dings. Thank you for looking.
