Antique Edwardian Perfume Presentation Scent Bottles Girard et Cie Circa 1910

On offer is this Girard et Cie perfume bottle set complete with original silk covered hinged presentation box dating circa 1910. The box measures 13.5 cm by 12.3 cm and 5 cm in depth. Made of fabric covered heavy card with sprays of carnations to the lid. The box has bright pink silk lined interior and under the lid is marked Girard et Cie in gold lettering. The box contains two clear cut glass scent bottles standing 10.5 cm in height. Both bottles have sloping shoulders and are fitted with cut and faceted globular glass stoppers. Each have their original red and gold foiled labels to the neck rim and front panels. One is marked Carnation and the other Violette de Parme. The set of antique perfume bottles is offered in good condition. The glass bottles and stoppers are free from damage and the labels are intact. The box has some normal age darkening and some edge wear whilst the interior is bright and clean.
