Antique Faceted Silver Topped Cologne Bottle - London 1912

This delightful silver topped faceted shoulder cologne bottle was assayed in London in 1912. The bottle itself comes complete with the original cork stopper, concealed within the hollow silver lid. It is hallmarked for London 1912, but the maker is ill defined as the assay mark was mistruck and subsequently polished throughout its first 120 years of life. That said, the maker appears to start with a 'W' and might possibly belong to; Wolfsky & Co ,a company renowned for their travel case interior fitments and travel requisites. It comes presented in a box contemporary with the bottles origin. However, the interior has been refurbished for gifting.
