Antique French Diorama Linen from Flax Manufacture / Clothes Shop Display

This decorative diorama which dates from the first half of the 20th century originates from France and shows the different stages of the process of making linen thread from flax. This interesting vintage display piece has a deep wooden painted framed box, glazed front and French paper labels explaining each step of the manufacturing process.
