Antique French Ormolu Cigar Box

A stunning antique French, 19th century Ormolu, Palais Royal style cigar box. An impressive piece with impeccable detailing, it is a large table top sized box with a double compartment, cedar lined. The box features a highly detailed front panel scene in the manner of Teniers, a scene of merry making, all in repousse design. It has Grecian revival frieze borders and a cupids bow thumbpiece opening.
