Description
Offered for your consideration is this fine antique vinaigrette scent bottle dating circa 1880 and measuring approx. a petite 2.5 cm in height with a maximum width of approx. 3.3 cm. This antique vinaigrette scent bottle is made of green glass and has a rounded squat form with deeply cut ridged body. This vinaigrette bottle is fitted with an unmarked but tested sterling silver hinged lid which has attractive repousse decoration and a light gilt finish. The lid lifts up to reveal a silver pierced grill and the lid unscrews correctly at the neck to replenish the contents.

This rare antique vinaigrette bottle is offered in good condition. It has normal age and usage signs and some light fritting to the high points of the glass but there are no chips, cracks or fractures. The lid fits firmly and securely and has no dents or dings.
