Antique Large Multi Top Hat Carry Case. Tall Double Leather Storage Box

This antique tall leather multi hat case which dates from c1900 is a large size, has a removable insert and was designed to carry two top hats and an opera hat. This great looking hat case which has a fabulous patina is nice and tall, well made of thick quality leather tan, the inside has a red silk lining, a brass lock plate that is stamped with Secure London, sturdy carrying handle and there is a long leather holding strap. This does not hold the lid shut when carrying as we do not have a key to unlock the case. A handsome Victorian case that looks wonderful on display in the home, shop display or film prop and is ideal for keeping hats safe. Material: Leather. Date: c1900 Condition: Beautiful antique condition with age related wear, scuffs and marks leaving a beautiful patina. Leather is in solid condition with some cracking and rubbing wear to the edges. The interior is in good condition but with some staining, wear and tears. Leather carry handle in excellent sound condition. We do not have a key to unlock the case. The strap that fits into the buckle is missing. Please see pictures.
