Antique Mohajeran Saroukh Runner Carpet

This is a fine Mohajeran Saroukh carpet dating from around 1910. Mohajeran carpets were finely woven from the best quality finest lambswool and as such they have excellent detail to the design and a beautifully soft handle. The carpet has a very pretty floral medallion set within a field filled with sprays of blooms and features, pinks, light blues, ivory and cinnamon shades. This is in good order with a nice even pile.
