Antique Moser Chatelaine Perfume Scent Bottle Enamel & Gilt Cranberry Glass Circa 1880

Fine antique Moser chatelaine scent bottle dating circa 1880. This perfume bottle has a flattened base so can stand upright without support and measures a petite 5.5 cm in height not including the attached original beaded suspensory chain and ring. The bottle is made of beautiful cranberry glass with all over raised gilt enamel decoration and is fitted with a brass collar and hinged lid which has attractive engraved pattern to the top. Attached to the collar is the original beaded suspensory chain and ring so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The bottle also retains the clear glass inner stopper. Offered in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass body, neck or internal stopper. The decoration has no wear. The lid is a firm and secure fit and is free from dents or dings.
