Antique Mushroom Model Teaching Aid - Holubinka Revovita

This handsome teaching aid which dates from the early 20th century is of a group of two Holubinka revovita mushrooms and would have been used in a school or university. This decorative piece is made of hand painted plaster and mounted on it's original wooden base which is marked to the front with Holubinka revovita. The underside of the base has maker's stamps in German and Czech. An unusual display piece. Material: Plaster. Wood. Date: Early 20th century.
