Antique Polished Agate Chatelaine Perfume Scent Bottle c.1880

On offer is this fine antique perfume chatelaine perfume bottle which dates circa 1880 and measures approx. 5cm in length with the attached suspensory chain adding a further 4.5cm to the overall length. This perfume bottle is a lay down bottle made of beautiful polished agate and has a brass collar and hinged lid. Attached to the sides of the collar is the original brass suspensory chain and ring so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The bottle retains it's original black glass inner stopper. This antique scent bottle is offered in very good condition with smooth undamaged stone body and with firmly fitting lid free of dents or dings. The neck of the bottle and the clear glass inner stopper are also undamaged. Thank you for your interest.
