Description
Antique sterling silver sauce boat or milk jug for tea ceremony, 1917, Sheffield by Northern Goldsmiths Co. All hallmarks, engraved with letter 'S' on the side. On the bottom stamp, Goldsmiths Co Newcastle-on-Tyne, scratched by hand. Very nice, attractive piece.
It can be a cream/milk jug, but it is pretty large and heavy, like a sauce boat.
