Antique Silver Sauce Boats

Originating from the late 17th Century French court, silver sauce boats came with two handles and two spouts. Incredibly fashionable that the French court was at that time, England soon followed suit and copied the sauce boats in English silver and later in 1740's English porcelain.

Today you can choose from the Georgian baluster body with it's decorative Chippendale boarders, or a dainty pair of perfectly formed Edwardian antique silver boats.
