Description
This is an antique vanity mirror. An English, sterling silver and glass dressing table mirror, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1902.
Delightful mirror with great tonality and reflection that displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Sterling silver presents minimal tarnish and bright finish. Quality bevelled glass shows a desirable light foxing.
Fascinating shield shape frame, with an easel back. Finely decorated in relief with foliate and leaf detail. Canvas rear finished with a broad support arm. Hallmarks present, for Nathan & Hayes of Chester, with date mark 'B' for 1902.
This is a charming antique vanity mirror, graced with superb sterling silver frame work and a pleasingly original mirror plate. Delivered polished and ready to enjoy.
