Antique Venetian Murano Aventurine Glass Miniature Perfume Scent Bottle Circa 1880

This delightful antique miniature scent bottle is of Murano glass, Venetian origin circa 1880 and measures a teeny 3.5 cm in height. This miniature perfume bottle has a ribbed flask form and has flattened base so can stand upright without support. It is made of black glass decorated with white latticino bands and alternating red and gold aventurine bands with a further gold aventurine wavy line around the neck. The bottle is all complete with the original metal ring and chain attached to a cork stopper with metal disc on the top. Such a rarity to find complete! I have not removed the cork as I do not want to damage it. This antique Venetian miniature perfume bottle is offered in very good condition with no chips, cracks or fractures.
