The cylindrical neck is fitted with a fine and impressive plain sterling silver hallmarked mount with the original hallmarked flat hinged cover.
This antique claret jug is fitted with a plain angular rounded handle with lobed terminals.
The glass body of the jug is embellished with a blown glass fluted decoration, all in a swirl design.
The body of this impressive English silver and glass claret jug is further ornamented with a star cut base.
