Art Deco Czech Vaseline Glass Perfume Bottle C1930

Description An Art Deco vaseline glass perfume bottle, produced in Czechoslovakia around the 1930s. The bottle features a distinctive sun-form stopper and a body with intricate, geometric patterns, which are both moulded and hand-cut. Made from yellow-tinted ‘citrine’ or ‘straw’ hued vaseline glass, which is considered a rather uncommon colour for these types of perfume bottles. The large, cut-glass stopper serves as both a decorative element and a functional dauber for applying perfume. Fluorescent glow under UV light.
