Art Nouveau Gilt Bronze & Glass Jewellery Box

This Stunning and very ornate Late 19th century gilt bronze jewellery box features a glass top and is supported on 4 dainty decorative feet. The front of the box has a serpentine shaped design, with a young woman’s head along with a profuse scrolled ribbon border. The sides are decorated with blossoming branches and swallows. This lovely box would make a beautiful accent piece to many different rooms and settings, both contemporary and traditional. Origin: French circa 1880 Condition: Excellent
