This original Austrian cold painted bronze of a footballer dates from c1890 and is of an early style football player holding a football. This heavy antique Viennese bronze footballer which stands on a marble base has fine detail, a polychrome finish and is signed with the Bergman B mark. A very nice quality and decorative piece that would make a wonderful gift for a football enthusiast or Bergman bronze collector. Material: Cold Painted Bronze. Date: c1890. Maker: Franz Bergman.
