This is a lovely image and very different from your average landscape! The wood is given a magical quality by the use of colours, full of mystery. It is a limited edition screenprint, no. 3/16. Signed lower right and dated 1984.
Betty Silburn (1925-2020) came from Blagdon in Somerset, and for 25 years did screen printing and etching at the West of England Art College in Bristol. She was a member of both the Bath and Bristol Society of Artists and the Somerset Guild of Craftsmen, exhibiting her work regularly.
