A very rare and fine original example of an early 19th century regency period escritoire desk comprising of rosewood and elegant brass inlay, with fruitwood inlaid drawers and ormolu fittings. The desk area has a leather surface and is complimented by numerous drawers and compartments. Such a fine and honest example of this period is almost impossible to find.
