Early 20th C. English Cut Crystal 12-piece Vanity Set with Silver Gilt Lids and Trim

This stunning and fine quality early 20th Century English cut crystal vanity set is comprised of 12 matching pieces, including 4 tall perfume bottles with stoppers, 4 glass lidded jars, 2 small lidded pots, one large lidded pot and one pin tray. This set is in extraordinary condition for its age, and each piece is hallmarked with a date of London, 1911. The set is also stamped with a G&S Co logo, which was The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. The company was a prominent London-based manufacturer of high-quality jewellery, silverware, and timepieces, established in 1880 at 112 Regent Street by William Gibson and John Langman. Renowned for holding Royal Warrants, they were leading producers until merging with Garrard & Co Ltd in 1952. There are no chips or cracks on any piece. This superb set would make a lovely and unique display, or could also be used for a daily indulgence.
