Edwardian Oak Roll Top Desk

A very good oak roll top desk with the preferred fielded (bevelled) panels to the sides and back, nearly always a sign of superior quality. This model is a 3/4 size desk with drawers to one side only. When the roll or tambour is closed the side drawers lock automatically. As with all of our roll top desks the most vulnerable part (the tambour) has been totally re-backed. This is not an easy Diy job and is time consuming and needs to be done in a certain way, most dealer don't do it if they can avoid it. The lock is working and the key is present. The finish rejuvenated and looking great.
