This unusual and elegant Edwardian silver and blue guilloche enamel scent bottle is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 and was made by the renowned silversmith Henry Matthews. The blue and clear glass rectangular body fitted with a silver hinged lid. The lid inset with a concentric dark blue guilloche enamel band. The neck fitted with the original sliced-cut stopper. Hallmarks: H.M for Henry Matthews. Date letter "b" for 1901. Birmingham Assay mark. Lion passant.
