Edwardian Walnut Three Piece Suite

This is a very fine Edwardian bergere three piece suite consisting of two armchairs and a sofa. Made from the best English walnut and with an exquisitely carved back rail, detailed with foliage and a pair of winged cherubs supporting a central crown. The twist legs and arm supports are joined by well figured arms that have unusual notched carvings to the sides. Any weak or damaged bergere cane panels have been replaced and the whole re-polished to a superb finish. To finally compliment the suite, we have had it re-upholstered in a soft gold brocade. This antique suite looks stunning and would enhance any home. The cushions have down feather fillings and are very comfortable.
