This is an elegant English George III (c.1800) antique mahogany Pembroke sewing table, of typical form with two shaped flaps on either side of a central drawer and pleated silk work bag on a slide, the fine turned, tapering legs on the original castors, with kingwood banding, satinwood tablets and turned brass knobs.
