Description
Exceptional quality burr walnut 19th Century (c.1870) Victorian antique kneehole desk. The rectangular top in mirror matched beautifully figured burr walnut and with moulded ebonized fore-edges above a central frieze drawer with original turned handles, brass London-made locks and solid mahogany drawer linings (sign of quality). Supported on two pedestals each with three graduated matching drawers flanked by pilasters with carved corbels, both sitting on enclosed ebonized moulded plinth bases.
