George John Done Bruce was born in London 1930, second of the two sons of George John Done Bruce, 7th Lord Balfour of Burleigh.Educated at WestminsterSchool,London and studied at Byram Shaw School of the Arts London. Portrait painter who has painted portraits on location in America, Switzerland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, also a painter of landscapes, still life, flowers.
