Description
George II style chest on stand, with a polished top, stylish cornice and moulded fore-edge, with a deep crossbanded frieze, with a configuration of 2 short over 3 further full size graduating drawers, each with a cast brass and engraved escutcheon & back plate with drop handles, the drawers are crossbanded and have a fine moulding on the fore-edge. The base section with a configuration of one short flanked by a pair of deeper drawers with similar handles, over the shaped frieze, resting on 4 elegant cabriole legs with foliate carving on the knee and finishing on a pad foot. It comes in 2 parts.
