An ornate antique Victorian folding fruit knife by the quality Birmingham maker George Unite, dated 1856. It features hand-carved genuine mother-of-pearl scales, richly decorated with leaf and scroll motifs. Hallmarked sterling silver blade. Brass liners with fine decorative filework along the spine. Supplied in a presentation box, suitable for display or gifting. HALLMARKS: Birmingham, SILVER fineness 925, MAKER George Unite DIMENSION: Length: CLOSED 7cm (2 3/4"). OPEN 11.8cm (4 5/8") approx.
