* A really good Miniature Portrait of Helen Kreszenz Sedlmayer 1813-1898, one of the 'Beauties of Europe' after the original by Joseph Styler. * The 'Gallery of Beauties' is a collection of 36 portraits of the most beautiful woman from the middle classes of Munich, Germany, painted between 1827 and 1850 and gathered by Ludwig 1st of Bavaria and housed in the south pavilion of the Nymphenburg palace in Munich. * Beautifully painted and copying all the detail of the original masterpiece. * The miniature is presented behind glass in a gilt bezel set in a 'Piano Key' Frame with engraved border and earpieces with a fine wooden mahogany edge. * The size of the miniature is 48mm high x 38m m wide. The miniature is in excellent condition with damage to the base, no loss of colour or fading, the frame has some discolouration around the bezel.
