Description
Pair of original oil paintings from the late 19th Century. Both signed by the same artist (G.Palmer ) Both paintings in antique gilt frames but frames are not matching.
Painted in a slightly crude style but paintings do have a real charm with an impressive appearance once hung.
Collection would be the best option for this item due to the sizes and weight or could possibly meet at petrol costs within a reasonable distance.

Elder Books & Collectables has clarified that the Large Pair of Victorian Paintings of Male & Female Lions Signed & Dated 1895 (LA367431) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1895
condition
Some wear and damage to frames which is mostly on the male lion frame ( see image) both paintings could do with some proper backing boards but the boards and tape repairs to backing are ok once hung ( see last couple of images for backing ). Please see all images to help with the condition. Overall some faults to the frames but the paintings are in very good condition. Please note in image 1 that the male lion appears much darker,this is mostly due to the lighting when the image was taken.several reflections are present from the glass in frames.
