The impressive upper section incorporates sixteen shallow drawers arranged either side of a central cupboard containing a single shelf—ideal for organising papers, specimens or treasured collections. The base provides a further eleven drawers, together with an additional cupboard within the kneehole. Richly carved detailing and substantial solid brass handles complement the oak’s striking grain, giving this remarkable desk both presence and character.
