Description
Late 19th Century gilt oval bevelled mirror with acanthus decoration c1880. Elegant giltwood and gesso oval frame with beading to internal and external edges, and applied acanthus detail. Bevelled oval mirror with minor distressed spots to the plate from its age - adding to its charm as an antique. The mirror comes with new fixings to its back, with adjustable links attached to an aged brass chain - allowing for height adjustment when hanging. The mirror measures 83 cm in height and 58 cm in width.
