Beautiful French hand-painted art glass perfume bottle by/attributed to Laure Chanille, featuring a striking Art Deco-inspired flapper scene. A wonderful and highly decorative vintage perfume/scent bottle depicting an elegant 1920s-style woman seated beside a classic automobile, beautifully hand painted in vibrant shades of pink, gold, black, silver, blue and green. The detailed Art Deco-inspired scene includes the glamorous lady in a flowing pink dress, parasol and vintage motor car, with fine painted and gilt detailing throughout. The bottle is topped with an unusual clear glass oval stopper, featuring a raised floral design and gilt detail. The painted decoration is signed “Laure”, with the bottle additionally marked: “Hand painted No 047” “Chanille” The bottle measures approximately 13cm high including the stopper.
