Louis XIV Period Dauphiné Region Chest of Drawers in Olive Wood Marquetry

Very beautiful Louis XIV commode from the early 18th century, slightly curved on the front, with flat sides, decorated with geometric marquetry. We can find a marquetry of olive wood, walnut, rosewood and boxwood. Superb wood marquetry with geometric decorations on the sides and bronzes. It opens with five drawers in 4 rows. This is always more elegant than just four long drawers. Rounded edges highlighted by wood fillets. The drawer interiors are in walnut . A sign of quality. It is topped with its original Saint Anne marble, which is intact. Hand polished Work to be brought closer to the productions of Thomas Hache in Grenoble.
