Lovely French 19th Century Ormolu Trinket / Jewel Box

A late 19th Century French glass trinket or jewel box. This lovely example has a delightful decorated Ormolu frame, which includes drops to each side finished floral details. The box stands on four raised and shaped feet and is fitted with a hinged, bevelled glass lid. The original interior is lined with a padded base, with central button in a blue silk moiré. An attractive and usable piece. Origin:- French Date:- Circa 1890
