Masonic Pocket Watch Chain Fob Sterling Silver 1923 Raob Very Large Enamel Fob

Fabulous Masonic Gentleman's antique sterling silver (fully hallmarked) and multi coloured enamel pocket watch chain large chunky 'Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes' fob. Measures; 5.4cm height (including the top ring), 4.3cm width and weighs a respectable 8.5 grams. Wonderful fancy shield shaped fob which is beautifully adorned to the front with elaborate engine turned scrollwork upon which is sat a slightly raised oval shaped cartouche containing the beautifully intertwined initials; Raob which are in Cardinal red, Royal blue and white enamel. The back is clearly inscribed; Presented To Bro.Wm. Mortimer C.P By The Members Of The Rockcliffe Lodge 104 For Merit Fully hallmarked to base within different shaped, fancy recessed cartouches (somewhat rubbed with the passage of time) with the Lion passant (Sterling silver), anchor (Birmingham assay) and lowercase letter; y - dating to 1930. Also stamped with the famous makers initials (again within a recessed cartouche); F&S and their full name is stamped to top; Fattorini & Sons Bradford. Large robust original Sterling silver top ring (again carries the Lion passant to one side) to attach to a Masonic Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just a tiny bit of overall wear/patina and just one bit of very slight Royal blue enamel loss commensurate with age.
