Medieval Revival Hock Roemer Wine Glass C1880-1910

Description An antique olive green Roemer or ‘hock’ wine glass produced during the Medieval Revival period of late Victorian to early Edwardian England. The glass features a rounded bowl with furnace-fired rim, and hollow stem with applied ‘prunts’ (small berry-like decorations) for grip, with annulated knops above and below. The pedestal foot is flared and wrythen ribbed with a snapped pontil to the base. Date & Origin England, c1880-1910. Period of Queen Victoria to King George VI. Condition Excellent. No chips, cracks or restoration.
