Description
A superb Hand Painted Miniature Portrait of a young late Georgian or Early Victorian lady with her hair in ringlets on either side of her face.
She is shown wearing a white off the shoulder dress with a rose in the centre and painted against red drapery with a view outside to the lower left of the painting.
Presented behind glass in a later gilt oval frame with easel back.
The size of the miniature is 80mm high x 63mm wide, the frame size is shown below.

the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1840
condition
Both the miniature and frame are in excellent condition, just a couple of darker marks on the top left outer edge visible only in certain light.
