Description
Fine Scottish oil on canvas titled 'Autumn in Glen Cloy, Arran signed by Archibald Kay RSA RSW 1860-1935 and dated 1927 on original label on reverse. Contained in its original gilt swept frame. This is a very typical scene painted by this artist who worked mainly in the west of Scotland. He exhibited 28 works at RA, 102 at RSA 82 at RSW 141 at Glasgow Inst Fine Art etc. His works hang in Glasgow Art Gallery (3), Greenock Art Gallery and in Edinburgh. A well known and very respected and collected artist.
