This is a pair of executive desk bookends. An English, solid mahogany and leather dressed book rest, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Distinctive form and of appealing weight, ideal for the desktop or reading nook displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout. Arched form hosts rich caramel hues and fine grain interest. Usefully dressed to the base with a protective leather covering.
