This is a pair of antique putto bookends. An Italian, plaster decorative cherub book rest in Grand Tour taste, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
Charming cherubic figures lounge against these distinctive bookends, displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Warm yellow hues accentuate the quality plaster forms.
