Elegant pair of Globe Wernicke London oak bookcases from the late 19th/early 20th century from England. A fine pair of bookcases with a advanced lower section. The lower section is deeper than the three upper sections, giving them a beautiful line and allowing for larger books to be placed in the deeper lower section. A very attractive model that can be placed together to form a large bookcase or separately. A bookcase with a lot of character, featuring metalwork on its sides. The glass doors slide inside the elements. It can be used as a bookcase or a display cabinet. In perfect condition with a beautiful patina.
