Pair of Matching Doulton & Co Slaters Patent Lambethware Vases 1892

Fabulous Victorian matching pair of good-sized and hand-painted Doulton & Co. Slaters Patent Lambethware vases. They exhibit the richly textured and gilded surface technique and finish, that characterises their Slater's Patent. Having tapered baluster bodies, surmounted by a blue everted necks, these two high-quality opulent stoneware vases, are both serial numbered on their bases with "X5551", and signed with the mark of notable ceramics artist and decorator J.Lasham. Thus confirming that they are indeed a genuine matching pair!
